People talk a lot about animals teaching us life lessons: Important things about patience and unconditional love, but they also have a knack for teaching us more simple things. Here, a list of things I have learned this week:
Play till you feel a nap coming on, and then just lay down right where you were playing.
Know that you are beautiful (and fluffy) and everyone should want to pet you and hug you till you wiggle.
Feel confident in your gracefulness and poise, even when you miss a jump and land on your face (I meant to do that).
Know that you are deeply loved even if you claw the furniture and puke on the rug instead of the floor.
Carry no stockpiles of regret around with you, just shake it off and move on to the next adventure.
Hold no grudges: So she acted like an ass yesterday, but she'll do better today, I know she will.
So many things yet to learn, to take into muscle memory: to feel unconditionally confident, loved, and certain in all things play and work; to fell comfy and wonderful in any and all groups of people; to feel like rolling around on a chair, slide off onto the floor, land on my head and know I am graceful and lovely, and always sure of who I am.
These are great lessons. I love the one about stockpiles of regret, and grudges... something I really need to work on. If this is the way cats live, then it's no wonder they have 9 lives!

Hello,
I've just landed here for the first time and read through a few of your recent posts. Im intrigued, looking forward to following your story. I find myself in a similar 'place' at the moment, about to leap forward into something wonderful. I can just sense it!
Must work on developing my 'cattitude'!
