Could November have sped by any faster? Does anyone else feel like you blinked a few times, had a cup of tea and November was gone? So the goals that were November:
- Paint paint paint - YES!
- Celebrate some of my finished painting (see #1) and attend the opening of Core: art & design of the torso - what a fun time... you can see photos of the show here
- Keep up with freelance deadlines for the month of November, getting behind could cause a major un-done - did pretty well with this one, and am hoping it will make December a joy
- Post holiday cards to my etsy shop - Done, and they are here
- Research and make a list of 5 galleries that I'd like to show my work in - made a list of 7 galleries, and now to make contact
- Just what is that inner voice saying this month - Stretch yourself past your safe comfort zones seemed to be the phrase of the month from that inner voice
- and Celebrate life as much as is humanly possible. Remember to remember all the moments that point the way, that say "oh look", that smile softly, that beckon me down the path. Indeed!
And here we are already one day into December:
- Make contact with the 7 galleries and introduce myself and my work - (Regardless of whether it's the best time of year.)
- Keep up with design deadlines, and make time for some time away from the computer the last 2 weeks of December
- Focus on some specific projects that take me out of my comfort zone: writing.
- Feel grateful for all the beauty, all the goodness, all the joy, and also for the difficulties gotten through, the hurdles crossed, and the lessons learned.
And that's it. Short and sweet for the month that will wrap up this year. Now, what will my word for 2010 be? What will your word be?
You got alot accomplished in November. Here's to doing the same in December. Happy Holidays!

I always have to stop myself because I want to automatically call you 'Athena'. So - *Liz* - yep, I blinked a few times, tea, etc., and that was that.
What a wonderful month you had! I loved the post with the photos and creations from the Core show... I'll join you in a gratitude list, haven't written one recently.
Ooh, I'll have to think about that - what word for 2010... So many to pick from. ;) Happy goals and holidays!

Consider your metaphorical hand held... shall we check in with each other at the end of the month? (I'm sad about the meetup on Modish going away... I hope somebody else picks it up).
I really love your #4 goal. Very beautiful; something I need to do, too.

I blinked...and not only was November gone, but it's....December 8! Ahh!
Wonderful goals - I love how you look beyond the little things to see the big picture - something I find hard to do sometimes!
