I couldn't just photograph the front door, not when there is a peach tree in bloom at the bottom of the front steps. OK, so now the front door...
We actually have 2 front doors, the double door red one, and then the big wooden white one, inside the front porch. Isn't it funny when you start taking photos of something that you see all the time, and you realise that you haven't been actually "seeing" it in quote some time. I realised we still have flattened boxes and just plain junk, on the front porch, that we haven't dealt with since we moved in at the end of September... some happy porch making must commence now that it's getting warmer. Love those red doors though... and now for some more peach blossoms...

will you get peaches (for Dr. Deb)?

Hi Liz,
Love the red door, and the peach blossoms. I miss California. I am glad you're there, enjoying it. :)

I have always wanted to live somewhere where you have to go through one set of doors before going into the actual entrance door. Have a great week!

You're so lucky. I have a peach tree, and I expect it will bloom in 2-3 months :) Happy spring!

Some people say that the front door is a gauge that estimates how welcoming your home is. The people who have left comments here are right. Your door is indeed inviting! The brightness of the red kinda gives of a happy aura.

Oh wow, that first photo made it look like you were living in Japan. So gorgeous! Blame those peach blossoms. Do you actually have Japanese influences in the design of your home?

The flowers complement the red door! And yes, Tracy took the words right out of my mouth. The first photo DOES remind me of Japan. You know those cherry blossoms you see in Japanese movies? Haha!
