I love this quote: "Be yourself. No one can ever tell you you're doing it wrong."
My crap-ass-inner voice likes to tell me otherwise, but at the moment I am smashing him into the rug with my boot, so he is ever so silent, giving me the opportunity to enjoy the moment, and just be myself.
Okay, so let's review November: crunchy leaf walking was a HUGE success, as was product for the Etsy shop, and then an impromptu Thankful Sale over Thanksgiving weekend (thank you to everyone who stopped by and made purchases- so grateful!) And since that crap-ass voice is silent for the moment, I will just leave it at that.
November Goals
- yeah, yeah, yeah, finish the bleeping website -enough said
- Continue with progress on new product for Etsy shop- nice!
- Research Galleries - ongoing
- Walk through some crunchy autumn leaves - Done and Lovely
December is always crazy busy, and one of my goals is to try to not get sucked into that crazy busy black hole. Just let things go. And if I feel the stress ball start building I'll choose some more things to just let go of. I think it will be a fabulous exercise for December, and if anyone wants to join me, you are welcome.
December Goals
- website
- New Resin jewelery designs
- New Colour Story pieces
- Finish my announcements to send to other blogs/websites
- Create for fun and joy instead of deadlines and money
- Let go of the things that are creating too much stress, and re-evaluate their importance/priority
- Spend some face to face quality time with friends
- Think about my word for 2011
OK everyone, hope your Decembers are the best ever, with lots of fun, and friends and family to blanace the work and the busy. See you al again in 2011. I know. I can't believe we are almost doen with 2010.

IF you are new to The Meetup or would like to play along, here's the scoop:
- Post a list of your business related goals for the current month on the 1st of each month on your blog. {If the 1st falls on a weekend, post on the following Monday.}
- Come back over here and leave a link to your goals blog post in the comments of my current month's goals.
- And then {and this is the most important part, since we are a community} visit all the links in the comments, stop in and say hello, have a conversation, meet and greet and etc.
Oh my GOODNESS - your goals #'ed 5 & 6, I totally need to do this! So glad the crunchy leaf walking was a success...as well as your beautiful new resin jewelry! I never responded to your email, but they are LOVELY and I would to show them off in a "Maker's Must" interview sometime...
I already let go of my first December stress: a meaningful, beautifully constructed advent calendar (replaced it with a lego and chocolate storebought ones, the kids were ecstatic!) I'm hoping I can balance this list:

with some really relaxing activities!
As always, thanks for keeping the Meetup going Liz - I gather so much strength from this group!

Hey Liz,
I'm totally with you on letting things go! It's the first day of December & I can already think of so many things I need to do but like you said, I'm staying calm & doing things one day at a time. I love you word of 2011 idea.. I think I might do that for myself as well. Happy December & Holidays to you & your family! `=]

Hi Liz -- Like Candy, I can so relate to goals 5 and 6! Is it too late to add them to my list? HA! Glad to see another person who does the word for the year. I've done it twice now and I love the energy of it.
Here are my December goals, short and sweet (for me!) this month. Hopefully, January's list will be even shorter!

I've followed you monthly Meetup from afar but decided that with the coming new year I should take a larger step into the blogging community and this seemed like a nice introduction. I love your 5 & 6 and think this is a great time of year to hang out with dear ones and spend more time with them the Fall show season is coming to an end and its time to relax. Happy Christmas everyone - coming from a Brit' who still thinks Christmas starts and Christmas Eve and doesn't end until 2nd January!

Wonderful goals. And I will definitely join you in letting go of stress this Holiday season. Working in Retail I see enough of the madness..
Anyway, here are my goals. I'll be popping by the rest of your blogs tonight or over the weekend.
