And there went October! I got most everything done, and then some: taught at create explore discover in mid-October, got a big design job I wasn't expecting, and fit in some time for friends, and laughing, and talking too.
- Jewelry - didn't get as much done as I wanted but here comes November
- Journal Covers X3 - 1 done, 2 more coming
- Get Holiday cards into Etsy shop - done and more coming
- Flower painting series - not even started (!)
- Start making contact with potential licensors - at least 3 contact this month. - 1 contact made and another going out this week
- The Money Book - started (again!)
- Incorporate #5, #6 and #8 from September back into October. THESE were the easiest bits all month long.
OK, so coming up in November, more of the same as above, plus a quick trip back east for a wedding, getting ready for some Holiday Art Fairs, and a birthday.
- Finish 2 more journal designs, and then get to the binding and producing
- Jewels
- Flower series
- Contact 2 licensors this month TWO!
- Finish the website (it's seriously almost done!)
I think this is enough... okay here we go down the path to November and onward to winter. I hope you all fill your Novembers with whatever you deeply and surely and truly want to fill it with, and I hope that you find deep satisfaction in any and all of it. Happy November-ing.
Ah, the path to through November! To me, it's much more like a huge slide, greased with Crisco!!!!! ;-) But I do so hope that I find lots of meaning, and find some time to ENJOY the time! Sounds exciting, an unexpected design job!
Here's my list!

Hello Ms Liz; feels funny not to talk to you.... I have a different approach to this month:I have decided to focus on what I am thank for.... (I have a four page business list that is well underway with lots of planning and organizing and launching etc.) but I want to take a moment back to my word of the year (REST) and really focus on what I am thankful for..(part of the inner self slowing down and resting and the outward self sharing...)we'll see how it goes...hope you join me...

I'm looking forward to Sarah's month. :)
Hi Liz - hope all is well. Glad you keep making time for the talking and laughing. :) I finally made a little list of my own for the Meetup. Mostly, I just need to get the paint on a lot more! xo!

Its great to see you have a little furry helper as well! You have a busy list for the month, and I'm so relieved to see you didn't get all your October list done (I'm not the only one). But I have to agree with Candy, November is a slippery slope, with shows and marching band competitions all before Thanksgiving. I shortened my list - it was too overwhelming! Thankfully we get Thanksgiving week off to take a breath before we descend into Holiday Craziness and a 17th birthday! Good luck.
